A meeting of greats: Hyro The Hero features Chad Gray , vocalist of Hellyeah , in the music video for "Fight," released this Friday, the 11th.
The combination of rap and metal in the track is already energetic on its own, but with Hyro and Chad involved, it only seems to get better. “'Fight' is about motivation. That extra kick in the pants you need when things are tough. I wanted to be that voice that lifts you up when you're feeling down. That's what 'Fight' represents,” says Hyro.
The artist also commented on Chad's participation in the track, “Being able to share this incredible track with Chad only made the song more epic. He’s always been a huge supporter and a great friend since we met in England years ago. Once he heard the track, he didn’t hesitate to record it. He felt it, went to the microphone, and killed it.”
Chad, of course, didn't hold back in praising the song and Hyro, "I had so much fun going into the studio and recording this song with Hyro. The verses he wrote were interesting to me. I knew the moment I heard it that this was the song I wanted to be a part of. I'm so proud of Hyro and this song. And it's always great when the melody and lyrics write themselves. It's always a sign of a great song."
